Position          Java developer Experience     0 – 5 Y (skills coverage & expertise: to be “prorated” to effective nb of year experience)

·       RTPose (for Real Time Position) is an application that provides real time trades and position to all MARK/GEF (equity) traders at GBIS. Due to its positioning in the trade lifecycle (just after market execution), RTPose is a key component for the whole trading activities (risk follow-up, market making ...). In a first step, the project aims at fixing known issues and improving the monitoring of the whole platform. Then, components and architecture rework will be considered. ·       Current Architecture: Core Java, Spring, Ehcache, C++, Corba & Tibco, Deployit (Xebia) ·       Target Architecture: Core Java, Spring, REST Web Services, NoSQL Database (Cassandra, Elasticsearch), IUM (Informatica Ultra Messaging, 29West)

You will be involved in activities like:

·       Accurate time accounting and reporting of own work ·       Promptly escalate issues ·       Production follow-up, support level 2-3 ·       Quality, on time delivery of agreed deliverables ·       Adhere to company and project standards and guidelines

Your technical profile:

·       Good knowledge of JavaSE > 1.5 (>=1.7 would be appreciated) ·       (Smattering) Knowledge of C++ would be appreciated ·       Knowledge of some core development tools used within the company: Maven, Jenkins, Git/SVN, Sonar, ... and DeployIT (nice to have) ·       Knowledge of Spring, Ehcache (Good knowledge for developer having more than 4 years of experience) ·       Knowledge of distributed architecture and caching mechanism ·       Knowledge of middleware principles (Tibco RV and Corba nice to have) and asynchronous communication ·       Knowledge of NoSQL database principles (e.g. Cassandra, Elasticsearch) would be appreciated ·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

We will also value:

·       Sound Knowledge of design patterns, unit testing methodologies and frameworks ·       Sound communication, interpersonal and team working skills ·       Sound time management skills and ability to take on multiple assignments ·       Easily adoptable to company culture ·       Good command of English, both written and spoken with the ability to participate in English-only meetings. — French knowledge is an advantage; ·       Enthusiasm, self-confidence, innovative problem-solving skills, curious, autonomous and really keen to develop his tech skills.
