Role As a SAP Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant at our customer you will be involved in various challenging projects. Our goal is to help clients to optimize their processes, to determine the information needs and to translate these into the right solutions. You will do this based upon steering models and contributing your own knowledge about business processes, (financial) key figures and using SAP BI / Business Objects tooling. As a BI Consultant of our customer you will be working on various projects for customers (within Utilities, Insurance, Financials, etc.) in the Netherlands, and sometimes abroad. By participating in these challenging projects and the cooperation with the other Consultants, your IT- and Business knowledge development as well as the development of your personal skills never stops! Profile Our BI Consultants are professionals who are ambitious team players with sharp analytical skills and a drive to deliver. We are always looking for senior consultants with knowledge and experience in the area of SAP BI / Business Objects and financial SAP modules. You dare to stand out when serving the customer’s interests within your projects by following a critical but pragmatic and result-driven approach. You actively participate and feel responsible for the results and added value (both in and outside the scope of your own project).
Qualifications required	Desired skills and experience: Bachelor or Masters degree, or equivalent At least 7+ years experience with SAP BI modules, specifically SAP BW/BO ETL SAP BO Business Intelligence (e.g. BEX Analyzer, Xcelsius, Crystal reports, Business Explorer etc) Sybase PowerDesigner Experience with BO in a BW environment is a strong advantage Knowledge of SQL or analytical software such as ‘R’ would be an advantage Preferably experience within the Insurance and/or Utilities industry, other industries will be considered. Strong analytical and problem solving skills Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and empathic skills Commercial and result oriented customer focus The following skills will be considered an added advantage: Project management experience and knowledge of project management methodologies (Prince2, IPMA or PMP, SCRUM) Knowledge of support processes (BiSL, ASL and ITIL) Proven experience in modeling techniques (Kimball / Datavault for example) CBIP Certified Willingness to travel, flexibility inside NL, outside NL is an advantage Permanent employment interest Fluent in Dutch (at least Advanced Level) and English The offer Competitive compensation & benefit package, depending on the level of your experience Experienced colleagues to learn from and work with Interesting projects with international possibilities Investment in personal and professional growth
